Dave Robson Driver Training was formed approximately 15 years ago. We are an independent school covering Sunderland and the surrounding areas, giving a more personal level of service than national driving schools and also actually do care about your progress and want you to succeed and we take pride in our reputation and our success rate. We will treat you as an individual and do our best to offer you the standards of service and commitment that we would expect if we were the ones learning to drive. We use only fully qualified instructors in the driver training programme, giving you the the best driving tuition available at an affordable cost. We are committed to providing a competitive service with the highest level of tuition available. We operate during the hours of 8.00am to 8.00pm Mon to Fri and 9:00am to 3.00pm on Saturdays (Sundays are available on request) and there is an answer-phone, e-mail and text message service outside of those hours.

All tuition is only ever one on one and a pick up and drop off service is provided. In our modern fleet of Clios, learning to drive is enjoyable and easy, and Dave Robson's excellent first time pass level is testament to this philosophy.

Together our instructors can give you a personal, reliable, experienced service with the highest of standards, plus our pass rates are well above the DSA's quoted national average.

We appreciate that everyone is different and learns at their own rate in their own way. Because of this, we can tailor our driver training methods to suit you, structuring lessons according to your time available. We believe the most effective way to learn is to have a minimum of two hours per week together, though we can provide more intensive tuition if required.
